The owner built the business, now it won't run without them.

A one-day working session for businesses ready to run without the owner in every room.

July 14th, 2026  ·  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM  · ARMORY ANNEX • 820 Center Avenue • Moorhead, MN

Hosted by:

It’s Sunday night and somewhere, the owner is mentally walking through the week ahead — and so are you.

They’re carrying three sales calls only they can take, two proposals only they can write, a vendor situation only they understand. You’re carrying the weight of waiting. Waiting for approvals. Waiting for direction. Waiting to be trusted with the thing you’re ready to own.

You’ve built something real. A business with real revenue, real customers, and a real name in the market. Somewhere between $200K and $7M — a number that makes everyone proud.

But the whole thing runs through one person. And everyone in the company feels the drag.

The owner wants to unhook. The team wants to step up. The question is how you do it together.

This workshop was designed specifically to help owner-led teams optimize so one person no longer carries the whole weight of the business on their shoulders.

There’s a stage every owner-led business hits where working harder and having them involved in every decision and meeting stops working.

You all feel it before you can name it.

Revenue plateaus and the owner’s hours go up. The team is busy but the needle doesn’t move. New sales and decisions slow down because there’s no bandwidth to chase them. Old clients churn because there’s no capacity to focus on keeping them. Someone gets promoted and ends up sharing a job with the person who was supposed to hand it off.

The talent in the room is solid and that’s not the problem.

It’s an architecture problem.

The business was built with the owner as the system. Every decision, every relationship, every exception running through one person. That design got you here. It’s also the exact design keeping you from getting to the next level.

Nobody needs to work harder. You need a different structure. A structure where the owner can lead without being everywhere, and the team can execute without waiting on one person to move.

This day is built for you if:

  • You believe you have a fully capable team but every time the handoff of duties transition starts, something pulls the owner back into the middle of it. Or, all the decisions still run through them.
  • You know AI is going to matter, but you’re tired of demos that don’t connect to how you actually run your business.
  • You don’t need inspiration. You want to leave with a plan your team can execute.

This day is not for you if:

  • You’re looking for an inspirational keynote experience.
  • You’re looking for AI 101 (we move past that in the first 20 minutes).
  • Your business genuinely doesn’t need the owner anymore.
  • You hate AI and think it will be the downfall of the world.
  • The owner has no interest in NOT being in the day to day. (We can’t force a handoff…sorry.)

You and one of your key team members spend a full day with us. By the time you walk out, you have:

You'll finally know who decides what across owner-only, consultable, delegate-with-criteria, and autonomous tiers — with two specific decisions reassigned this week.

You'll know what discovery, follow-up, proposal, brief, or approval matrix looks like for your business so that someone other than the owner can run.

The owner AND the team will know what numbers matter, how to affect them and how to make decisions based on them. (Gross margin, contribution margin per service line, CAC, Cash runway, Owner labor cost, etc)

Whether it's SOP, research, comms, follow-up, or task automation — you choose and create it with the team member trained to maintain it.

HubSpot prospecting agent for HubSpot users; a Chipp-built agent otherwise.

You will understand the Approval Window, the Decision Audit, the “I’m not asking, I’m informing” handoff — and you'll get it running starting Monday morning.

You and your team will create and be aligned on this by the time you leave the room.

Three blocks. Each self-contained and tactical.

Morning.

Decision rights, then enablement. We map who decides what in your business and reassign the decisions sitting in the wrong inbox. Then we build the sales and marketing infrastructure — discovery, follow-up, proposals, brand voice, approval matrix — that lets your team run the front of the business without the owner in every conversation.

Afternoon.

Scott Meyer (Chipp) walks you through where AI is actually replacing operational work in real small businesses. Everyone builds at least one workflow in the room. Then we put it in motion: live demo of an AI agent already running, and a 30-day supervision plan for the one you just built.

Close.

You and your team member fill out the same 30/60/90 map together. You exchange contact info with one accountability pair. We follow up directly within 48 hours.

Meet Your Facilitators

Angel Evenson

Angel Evenson

RevRaven

Angel owns multiple businesses across multiple states (FL, NC, ND), serves as a Fractional COO for multiple businesses, and her and her team work with owners around the globe through RevRaven. The pattern is the same when revenue sits ~$200k to ~$7 million: the work gets stuck where the system depends on a single person. In her COO roles she’s spent the last five years doing exactly what this event teaches — building the decision-rights system, sales process, and operational rhythm that lets the owner run the business without being in every conversation. Her own definition of her role: “My job is to get you to make decisions without me.” That sentence is the spine of Block 1. Through RevRaven she builds the same thing for owners and operators around the world — the unified, scalable revenue engines, decision frameworks, and AI infrastructure that take the founder out of the bottleneck. She’s one of the few HubSpot voices in the country deploying AI agents in her own pipeline today, with a HubSpot × RevRaven content series in production. Her mantra: Growth Without Compromise as see in her weekly newsletter: Uncompromised. At this event she co-facilitates the day end-to-end, leads the decision-rights and enablement blocks, and demos AI agents in real time.

Amanda Shilling

MINT Brand Marketing

Amanda built MINT Brand Marketing the same way the owners in this room are trying to scale their own businesses: by herself. She started as a solopreneur and grew the company into a 10-person brand and marketing studio in West Fargo. There was no template or playbook handed to her. The whole thing built one decision, one hire, and one hard delegation at a time. She’s a Fargo INC 35 Under 35 alumna and a “Bodacious Brander” by self-description. Earlier in her career she worked inside Dale Carnegie of North Dakota & Minnesota, Sanford Health, and Catalyst Medical Center — which is where she learned how brand, message, and team behavior actually move revenue. Today she works with owners on the strategic clarity that holds a business together once the founder stops being the catch-all. What that means for the room: she has lived through the bottleneck conversation she’s leading, on her own, in real time. The credential that matters here is the one she earned the hard way — she’s done what she’s teaching. At this event she co-facilitates the day end-to-end and co-leads the decision-rights, enablement, and get-out-of-the-seat conversations.

Scott Meyer

Scott Meyer

Chipp

Scott has built, exited, taught, and funded businesses — usually all four at once. He founded and exited 9 Clouds, an early digital marketing agency. He directed entrepreneurship initiatives at North Dakota State University, building the kind of programs that produce founders. He served on Fargo city council. He started Ed3, a consultancy advancing scalable education through technology and web3. In his current chapter he co-founded Chipp, the AI agent platform recently backed with an $800K preseed round from M25, Cambrian, and gener8tor — plus a $400K LIFT loan from the State of North Dakota. Chipp’s premise is the one we’re building this whole event around: AI agents should be easy enough for any owner to build for their own business. What that means for the room: Scott has actually built and scaled small businesses the way you’re trying to build yours, and he’s deploying AI agents inside small companies for real — not selling a course about it. At this event he facilitates the operational AI block — a 90-minute session featuring the Signal vs. Noise framework and a hands-on build session where every attendee leaves with a working AI workflow.

FAQ's

The person you’re trying to elevate, or the person trying to elevate you. The future sales lead. The operations person you keep needing to step in for. The owner whose approval you’re waiting on. They’re not a passive observer — they’re the future operator of what you build that day.

Yes. If you’re a COO, president, marketing director, or operations lead inside an owner-led business, this day is built for you too. Bring your owner if you can. If you can’t, come anyway and bring back the framework — we’ll equip you to run the conversation on the other side.

No. The HubSpot prospecting agent is one of several agent demos in Block 4 — useful if you’re on HubSpot, illustrative if you’re not. Everything else (decision rights, enablement, operational AI, supervision frameworks) is CRM-agnostic and applies equally if you’re on Pipedrive, Salesforce, or running on spreadsheets you shouldn’t still be running on.

Both. The bottleneck pattern is the same. So is the fix.

About a third. Operational AI gets a 90-minute block led by Scott Meyer (Chipp), and AI agents get a 60-minute block in the afternoon. The rest is decision rights, sales infrastructure, and marketing enablement — the human and process work AI alone can’t fix.

A 48-hour personal follow-up from us, your accountability partner from the room, and an open door to RevRaven and MINT for ongoing support. We’re not running this to sell you a course — we’re running it to build relationships with the kind of owners we love working with.

This is a working session, not a recording. The value is in the room — you and your team member building together with three operators in the front of the room helping you. There’s no replay.
